I live in Nottingham, UK with my husband Jon. I'm a keen, if sometimes overenthusiastic gardener, book worm and have a go at painting, crafts and baking.

I'm a recovering corporate misfit who backed themselves in 2018 to become a Meditation Teacher.

Now I am the Wild, Witchy, Wise Woman who shakes up your midlife in a good way!

When I started my spiritual journey I went in at the deep end and promptly sunk like a stone.

So desperate was I to get this stuff right, this was my calling after all.

My health suffered, sleepless nights, upset stomach, then stress took over and I burnt out.

Yet still I pushed through, looking back now, it sounds ridiculous, but I didn’t want to let down my guides or spirit down. I felt as though I was in a race to awaken.

After years of feeling like that and the shame that came with it, I finally began to make sure that my wellness walked at the same time as my return to wholeness.

A deeper connection to my body and understanding it's needs. Checking that I have the capacity to deliver what's downloaded to me mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Making the adjustments, constantly nourishing mind, body and spirit.

Putting things down if the balance wasn't there.

Prioritising what brings me joy and fulfilment, whilst not being a slave to my calling.

2 years ago I was guided to start The Magic Weaver

Not only did I find beautiful friendships, this was a place where I could fully express myself as part of the healing process, but in a way that felt comfortable for me.

Parts of the healing have been hard and the self expression was too, because I'd never found it easy.

What I did find was that a freedom of expression came in writing poetry that comes from the soul and the process of writing a book about my journey.

Working with my guides and ancestors, I reclaimed their voices through mine. As a Medicine Woman, as a Magic Weaver, as an Energy Alchemist harnessing the cosmic influences of ancient Egypt.

Everything clicked into place when I kept coming back to a version of my higher self that I met on my very first journey. Back then she was grubby, exhausted and afraid.

I knew that she was capable of so much more, I'd seen the vision of her in a blue cloak covered in sparkling, glittering stars and moons. Silver jewellery adorning her neck and fingers. Long flowing grey hair and a staff that held magic power.

She showed me that my golden thread is to uncover yours. To heal and weave your ancestral voices through a spell binding creation of a new world that is sustainable and endures.

Allowing you to be the essence of who you are, keep coming back to what is rooted and true for you and build something that means you can enjoy what you've created now, now wait until you retire.
